Join us for a relaxed and inspiring full-day lino cutting and printing workshop, led by Paul. The lino cutting and printing workshop is suitable for all abilities. During the workshop, Paul will introduce and guide you through a range of relief lino cutting and printing techniques using soft-cut (litho) lino. Working from a selection of prepared designs, you will learn how to transfer an image onto lino and identify positive and negative areas. Using sharp, quality carving tools (V and U gouges), you will develop key carving techniques to create negative (white) and positive (dark) areas. You will also learn how to ink your block and print your design using high-quality Cranfield Caligo inks. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have your own printed finished artworks to take home, along with new skills, inspiration, and a sense of achievement.

The lino cutting and printing workshops are held on Saturdays.
