Spend a day with Amy and friends creating a silver ring with bezel stone setting from start to finish in this 4 – 4.5 hour workshop. The stones available depend on the day, but usually you will have the choice between Opals, Rubies, Labradorite and Moss Agate. Plus the occasional extras!
The workshop is an open plan, communal space so you will be learning a craft right in the heart of a working environment. You will be taught on the central teaching benches. The space is right in the centre of Leeds, and easily accessible by public transport with a car park situated close by.
The Stone Set Ring Making Experience in Leeds is hosted by contemporary designer and maker Amy Stringer. Amy completed a BA (Hons) in Jewellery and Metalwork at Sheffield Hallam university and was inspired by the city’s modern, industrial architecture and open green spaces.
Amy was shortlisted for New Designer’s ‘Designer of the Year’ award and was invited to exhibit at Art & and Lustre under their graduate scheme. Amy’s graduate collection was also awarded a Bright Young Gems highly commended award by International Jewellery London.
Amy runs a range of silver jewellery courses including Stone Set Ring Making and Silver Ring Making Workshop in Leeds.
